Despite its rapid economic development, India remains among the top countries with children suffering from malnutrition. To tackle the problem, the Akshaya Patra Foundation runs the biggest mid-day meal programme, offering a sustaining ration to over 1.3 million school children across the country.

Here is the latest video campaign from the NGO, which brings you on the journey of a starving Indian child who must accept a variety of jobs along the road before finally being provided a fresh meal in a comforting classroom. A story that reminds us how small acts can make huge differences. And if you enjoyed the soundtrack of 'Slumdog Millionaire', you may fall in love with the enchanting composition of A.R. Rahman.
