This woman wants to send the message out and make it clear: stop stigmatizing Africans.
Imagine someone saying to your child: you're from Liberia, so you have a disease. That's the shocking comment Ms Soloman got to hear from the mouth of her own daughter.
She couldn't stand anymore the mass stereotyping and stigmatization spreading in the world right now in regards to the Ebola victims in Africa. So she stood for herself and made a call to action:
I am Liberian, not a virus.
