Alex is an independent filmmaker who, like many of us, is equipped with the latest array of technologies. Sometimes he breaks his gadgets, loses them, or they simply become obsolete. But where do they go next? That's the question Alex asked himself.

As he explains in his video, most of our electronic waste is shipped to developing countries where environmental regulation policies are less strict. To truly understand the magnitude of the problem, he visited the town of Agbogbloshie, Ghana, often referred as the world's "digital dumping ground". What he found there is quite disturbing.
